STRATEGIC PLAN

1 - Earl Shilton Town Plan & Vision - To work closely with the Borough Council, (The Local Planning Authority for residential developments) to achieve successful outcomes for:

   a.   The Earl Shilton Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE).

   b.   The Westfield Farm development.

   c.   The Dalebrook Farm Gypsy, Romany and Traveller development.

   d.   A permanent custom built premises for the Town Council to operate all its services, (Parks, Cemetery &

        Open Spaces in particular), from which to serve the Community of Earl Shilton.

2 - Earl Shilton Action Plan - to work conjointly on all items of the Plan & Vision above whilst maintaining statutory obligations of Council and providing a series of civic events commensurate with the status of the Town.

CONSTITUTION

The Council Constitution is effectively the Terms and Conditions under which Earl Shilton Town Council operates. The documents below detail the agreed policy and procedures of the Council.

   - ESTC Members Code of Conduct Policy

      The National Association of Local Councils (NALC), to which the Town Council is a subscribing member, ensure that we adhere the statutes, regulations and codes promulgated in NALC's Legal Topic Note (LTN ) number 80.  Readers should note that the principal authority referred to in LTN 80 for issues that cannot be fully resolved amicably and satisfactorily by the Town Council's members and or officers is; Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.
